The International Human Rights Centre (IHRC) is a non-profit organisation (Company Limited by Guarantee) that is registered in England and Wales - company number 10824596 – to promote the human rights of subjugated individuals, groups and communities in the Global South in general, and the Middle East and North Africa region in particular.

IHRC is made up of a team of home-based volunteers from different countries around the world, who are acting on own drive and motivation to make a difference through publications, petition writing and organizing events and various other relevant activities.

Mahmoud M.A. Abdou
Co-Founder and Director

Mahmoud is an established academic. Born in Gaza Strip, Palestine, he holds a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA; MA in American Studies from Heidelberg University in Heidelberg, Germany; MA in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from the UN University for Peace in Costa Rica; and MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London, United Kingdom. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Warwick in Coventry, United Kingdom and most recently he worked as an Operations Advisor at the Geneva-based Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor. Raed Al-Bilbaisy 
Co-Founder and Director

Raed is a Palestinian human rights activist. Originally from Gaza Strip, Palestine, he is now based in London, United Kingdom. He holds a masters in Politics & International Relations from Kingston University in the United Kingdom and a BA in Political Science from Al-Azhar University in Gaza.
